Amicus is an early maturing winter wheat with very high baking qualities. The excellent resistance to lodging makes Amicus particularly suitable for intensive cultivation. The early feeding with nitrogen contributes to the formation of a class of high density in the wheat Amicus.

Details:

Plant density: 350 - 450 grains/m² 
Time of sowing: beginning of October
Fertilizing: minimum twice – 1,3 – 1,8 kg/ha N

Plant protection:

Treatment with fungicides: in vegetation
Single treatment with broad-spectrum fungicide (dry areas):
Active combination of azoles and strobilurins with long duration of action in the growth phase BBCH 49 (occurrence of a flag leaf)
Separate treatment (wet areas : Twice
Foliar BBCH 31-49: against fusaria, powdery mildew, and then against other early emerging diseases on the leaves.
Treatment of class BBCH 49-69: rust, leaf rust, fusarium and septoria late infection.
Insecticide treatment: in the presence of high levels of aphids, thrips, common wheat leech, wheat bug and other pests.
For high quality of the grain, use fertilizers and growth regulators.
